One of the best parts of my job is my title of story-teller. This blog serves as a culmination of all of my favorite things and introduces you to my incredible clients. Pop below for all the ways I combine my love for moments, new experiences, date nights with Andrew, and sitting down over wine with clients to hear about what matters to them most... all while juggling motherhood and the latest Nordstrom sales.
I absolutely love a good Georgetown engagement session. With its classic cobblestone streets, homes with traditional architecture, and trees that speak to how old the streets are… it is an undeniably beautiful location. Rachel & Douglas shared their first date over ice cream at Thomas Sweet in Georgetown, so the streets of Georgetown were an obvious choice for their session! (And bonus, we definitely got ice cream at the end.)
While I shoot, I play off of each client’s personality, how my couples mesh together, and what inspires them. I *love* this because it makes every session different. For Rachel & Douglas, that looked like wandering the streets laughing together, grabbing ice cream, and then making a stop at the infamous Canal that finally has water again. Our light was stunning, and these two were naturals in front of the camera.
I cannot wait for their wedding TODAY at The Inn at Perry Cabin with Rebecca Thomas! You can follow along here for behind-the-scenes!
