One of the best parts of my job is my title of story-teller. This blog serves as a culmination of all of my favorite things and introduces you to my incredible clients. Pop below for all the ways I combine my love for moments, new experiences, date nights with Andrew, and sitting down over wine with clients to hear about what matters to them most... all while juggling motherhood and the latest Nordstrom sales.
A Tidewater Inn summer Rehearsal dinner is just what you needed to start off your week, am I right? There are so many gorgeous spaces at the Tidewater in Easton, but my favorite is the brick patio. I love the way the light filters in at the end of the night. It was the perfect space for Kendall and Matt to kick off their wedding weekend. Especially for their guests who were newly acquainted with the beauty that the Eastern Shore has to offer. A wedding weekend on the water must always include a stop in Easton.
Rehearsal Dinner coverage has become the absolute best way for me to usher in a wedding. I get to meet the families, spend bonus time with my clients, and interact with the bridal party. (This is a big deal!). The time feels invaluable because when I then show up on a wedding day everyone knows me and feels that much more comfortable in front of the camera! My clients experience my warmth and personality… and it’s their “warm up” for the big event.
Usually this time includes mingling with guests, a few portraits of my clients, and perhaps a shot list provided by my clients. I’m typically there for up to 2 hours to capture mingling + toast time. Rehearsal Dinners are *for* the toasts!
