One of the best parts of my job is my title of story-teller. This blog serves as a culmination of all of my favorite things and introduces you to my incredible clients. Pop below for all the ways I combine my love for moments, new experiences, date nights with Andrew, and sitting down over wine with clients to hear about what matters to them most... all while juggling motherhood and the latest Tuckernuck drop.
Six months. Six months ago, Holland came into our world and our lives have never been the same. I can’t believe that we are halfway into this unexpected journey already. Six months in. Six months that feels like a lifetime, and yet like there is a lifetime to go. Every day is a gift with her in our lives…
Bringing out some oldies but goodies to share my favorite 25 photos from Fall engagement, anniversary, and portrait sessions because Fall is the BEST. Taking your photos this time of year is my absolute favorite. So I decided to round up my favorites for outfit & location inspiration, or just to give you another reason to fall in love with Fall.
Katie & Josh, your wedding was perfect. When I think about your wedding, I think about the speeches, the way that Josh lost it when KP came down the aisle (wait until you see those photos!), the sweet, beautiful family portraits we took, and the precious words everyone spoke over you two. Love. I can’t wait to share these photos with you all!
this was Holland’s first flight, and my first solo trip sans Andrew, I did a LOT of research and asked a lot of questions before leaving. I wanted to be prepared for any circumstance (flight delay or cancellation, blowouts, getting through security, feedings, adults acting like children, sleep). I also wanted to pack light and smart.
HERE IS MY TOP 25 “DO THIS, NOT THAT” LIST FOR FLYING WITH A BABY!
On a gorgeous, sunny day on the second weekend of June, Katie & Curtis were wed on the lawn of Oak Ridge Estate near Charlottesville, Virginia. When Andrew and I pulled up the morning of their wedding to the estate, we could not help but drop our jaws at the sight of this incredible home! The views of the mountains were incredible, and the home was amazing. There was a huge garden in the back. I imagine that when it was someone’s home long ago, many days were spent wandering the gardens.
We started in Central Park at the Loeb Boathouse, traveled to Bow Bridge, hopped in an Uber and found ourselves in the Seaport District, and finally ended up in their neighborhood of East Village! We ended the shoot at their favorite spot where they get Prossecco on Tap… and people wonder why I want to live in New York!
